tells me, he cannot accept Trusteeship of German Savings Bank. Stop at Mr. Tunstalls Office 41 Pine str. Referee in case of Gardner against Mills to conversations had with him in 1874. Calling at Cotterills Office, do not find him in. After supper to Theo. house. Yenni & his wife call there, talk with Theo. Home at 11 PM |

May 28th Tuesday. |
Business lagging. Lunch at Union Square Hotel. Haynes from Boston sees me in relation to Kraemer, whom O. Ditson as well as he, dislike At 4½ P.M. to factory, drive through the Park with Theo & Johanne, take supper at Casino, where H. St. joins us. Then walk to Zeiglers, find Henry Ziegler vastly improved. To L.K. after walking through 8th street, play Skat with Nembach, Biedermann & Götzen, win 23 Cents. |

Beautiful day. To Store early. At 12 o'clock to factory, with Theo. & Johanna & H. St. to Astoria, where it is beautiful. Talk with Geo. H. Smith in relation to Parlor Organ Factory, party at my house in eve'g play Skat with Ziegler and Cassebeer, lose 60. Cts |

Decoration Day, it rains all day, take lunch at U. Sq. Hotel with Fred. Steins & Mr. Knapp U. S. Marshall serves Chickering and Burrill with the injunction, Harry pointing them both out to the Marshall. Home in eve'g writing to R.R. and others, and getting up account of her letter of credit |
