I at Concert of Mrs. Peters, 10 pianos, 30 performers, lunch at Ottendorfers with Lili Lehmann, her Niece, Miß Emily Suydam and other ladies, verypleasant affair Third Ave. R.R. seems to be able to hold out against the strikers. Quartett at my house in ev'g, am in good voice, Rummel also there | |

This day 25 years ago I was married in Buffalo to my first wife. Volkszeitung states that piano makers last night resolved to work but Eight hours daily from May 1st, leaving it somewhat uncertain whether wageworkers by the week are to work at reduced prices or not. In ev'g at L.K. party to the ladies Chorus I preside, it turns out to be a very nice affair. At noon Lillie Lehman called, and kissed me on taking leave |
